We are pleased to announce that Banville Wine Merchants is now the official USA importer for Cordero San Giorgio Winery from the Oltrepò Pavese region of Lombardy, Italy. After many years in Piedmont, in 2019 the Cordero siblings - Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina - purchased an estate in Oltrepò Pavese to create a new family tradition.

Named for the legend of St. George and the dragon, three of San Giorgio's wines reference mythical dragons and the concept of curiosity, challenging the unknown and triumphing in discovery and knowledge, all experiences that parallel the journey of the Cordero siblings.

The estate has 22 hectares of land in total. 20
hectares of vineyards are planted between 200m - 250m to Pinot Nero, Pinot
Grigio, Chardonnay, Croatina, and Barbera. All work in the vineyard is carried
out according to organic principles since July 2019 with the official organic
conversion beginning in July 2021.
