San Salvatore in The Wine Advocate
From Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate: "When
I head down to the Paestum area near Salerno, I go with one objective in mind:
Mozzarella. These flatlands are home to imported water buffalo that make some
of the best cheese found anywhere on earth. San Salvatore 1988 gives me a
second reason to go. This dynamic winery in the Cilento national park makes
great wines and it also produces mozzarella. It counts 450 head of buffalo for
the production of Mozzarella di Bufala DOP Campana that will appeal to the wine
and the cheese enthusiast in all of us. San Salvatore 1988 is an estate to
watch and I'm sure we will be hearing more from them in the future. I was
largely impressed by this collection of new releases."
