Kinero Cellars

Kinero Cellars is the project of winemaker Anthony Yount, launched in 2008 with a clear perspective: Paso Robles could produce serious white wines. From the outset, the focus has been precise and deliberate, centered on vineyard quality, long-term grower relationships, and a white-wine identity that stands apart in a region better known for reds.
The wines come from Paso Robles on California's Central Coast, where limestone-rich soils, steep vineyard sites, and strong day-night temperature swings help preserve freshness and structure. Kinero also benefits from the maritime influence that reaches inland from the Pacific across the Santa Lucia range, giving the wines more tension and lift than many expect from Paso Robles.
Inspired by regions such as Chablis, the Wachau and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Kinero has built its reputation on white wines with precision, energy, and site definition. The benefit is clear: these are whites with flavor and texture but also cut, mineral character, and balance, making them distinctive on their own and especially versatile at the table.
