    • Description :

      The Lagrein variety dates back to the 17th century in this region, and is recognized as one of the oldest varieties in the Sud Tyrol area. Lagrein is noted for the deep red color it gives the wine and its unique fruity/spicy flavor profile. The grapes are handpicked and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging in large oak casks, where the wine rests until bottled.

      Tasting notes :

      This garnet-red wine has hints of violet-purple. The aroma is intense with aromas of berries and violet flowers. In the mouth the wine is silky, soft and round with a hint of spice. It is full-bodied with nicely integrated tannins and a persistent, elegant finish.
