Barrel Oak Winery & Brewery

Barrel Oak Winery & Brewery is a Virginia estate in Delaplane, in the Piedmont just east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded in 2006, the property includes a 78-acre estate and 30-acre vineyard planted to 10 varieties, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Norton, with a focus on premium Virginia wines made in a polished, approachable style. Since 2022, Barrel Oak has been owned by Kavelle and Ken Bajaj of nearby Upperville. Winemaker Jeremy Ligon, a second-generation Virginia vintner who joined in 2021, oversees the program with an emphasis on expressive, balanced wines shaped by local fruit and careful cellar work.
