Pietro Rinaldi

Located just 5 kilometers from Alba in Piedmont, Pietro Rinaldi Azienda Agricola is a family-owned winery known for its exquisite artisanal wines. Monica Rinaldi and her husband Paolo Carlo Tenino are the fourth-generation owners of this estate. Monica and Paolo are committed to honoring the history and customs of the region while crafting wines of exceptional quality from the land itself. The end result is wines of the finest caliber, pure expressions of the harmony and beauty they share with their terroir.

The estate includes 10 hectares of vines. All of the wines are made from estate-grown grapes. Monica and Paolo believe that sustainable practices in the vineyards result in high-quality wines in the cellar. The Burgundian-like soil is made up of white clay and tuffeau. Vines are trellised in Guyot style and strict attention is paid to the cultivation of their grapes. They use three clones of Nebbiolo depending on the vineyard site. The cellar is newly-renovated, built partly underground and equipped with cutting-edge technologies: all the fermentation tanks are temperature-controlled, the grapes are destemmed using a soft roller to maintain the integrity of the fruit and the pressing is carried out with a pneumatic press.
