Love Over Gold Grenache

Love Over Grenache is made from a few rows of the estate's highest block in altitude and one of the highest Grenache sites in South Australia (545 m). Planted in 1997 this bush vine Grenache ripens slowly and is always hand picked.
The harvest was destemmed and tipped into a one-tonne fermenter. Gentle pump over and slow extraction until full dryness. Only the free runs were put into a 3 year old French oak barrel for eight months.
The wine is aged in the bottle for 2 years as Grenache is sensitive to oxidation and ages incredibly well in bottle.
