Description :
Situated just outside of the domaine, this walled vineyard was planted in the early 1960s and is just 1.5 hectares in size. The Clos is located just 150 yards from the famed Clos St Jacques and other top premier cru vineyards. Grapes are hand-harvested and destemmed and fermentation is initiated with native yeasts. 1/3 of the wine is aged in new oak and the rest in two to three-year-old casks.

Tasting notes :
Lush and opulent purple fruit aromas on the nose and palate. Strong, structuring tannins and a finish that doesn't end. Pair with game and other hearty meat dishes.
