Domaine de Saint Siffrein

Domaine de Saint Siffrein was founded in 1880 by Abel Siffrein. Today Cyril Chastan and his sister Patricia, the fifth generation of the original Siffrein family, are in charge of the operations, doubling as owners & winemakers. The family cultivates 6 ha of vines in the Côtes du Rhône Villages region and 16 ha in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with an average vine age of 50-60 years old. ​

​The estate has been farmed organically for 40 years and received their official Ecocert certification in 2012. The health of the vineyard is paramount and great care is taken to maintain biodiversity and sustainable practices throughout the estate. Most of the traditional winemaking practices continue to this day with some implementation of modern techniques.
