Kivelstadt Cellars

Kivelstadt Cellars was founded by Jordan Kivelstadt in 2007, beginning with 125 cases of Syrah from his family's estate in Bennett Valley. The winery is located in Sonoma County, with an estate vineyard in Bennett Valley and a broader focus on organically farmed sites across California. The appeal is clear: a producer built on site expression, distinctive varieties, and wines that balance character with accessibility.
The Kivelstadt philosophy is disciplined and direct. An emphasis on organic farming to support biodiversity and vine health, followed by minimal intervention in the cellar—native fermentations, restrained use of new oak, and as few interventions as possible.
