Paix Sur Terre

Founded by Ryan and Nicole Pease, Paix Sur Terre has quickly established itself as one of the most distinctive small wineries in Paso Robles. Ryan, a Cal Poly graduate whose passion for winemaking was ignited during travels through France, brings a thoughtful and deliberate approach to the cellar. His focus is on Rhône varietals—most notably Mourvèdre, which has become the estate's calling card—crafted with an emphasis on freshness, savory character, and precise mineral expression.

Sourcing from nine notable west-side vineyards in Paso Robles, Paix Sur Terre relies on site diversity to build depth and complexity in its wines. The style favors restraint and clarity: generous whole-cluster fermentations, minimal new oak, and a commitment to showcasing the individuality of each site. Alongside Mourvèdre, the portfolio extends to Grenache, Syrah, and Mediterranean whites such as Ugni Blanc and Vermentino, all produced in small lots that highlight their purity and sense of place. Each release is finished with a distinctive artistic label, underscoring the winery's creative and artisanal spirit.
