Vineyards: This vintage is made completely from Saintsbury's Home Ranch Vineyard surrounding the winery. Certified Napa Green, they keep a watchful eye on the vines daily, and farm responsibly, ensuring high-quality fruit with an environmental conscience.

Terroir: Carneros is known for its loam and clay soils and a mixture of flat land and rolling hillsides, which has the reliable marine fog that rolls in every evening and burns off mid-morning.
Vinification: Whole clusters of Pommard Clone Pinot Noir from the Home Ranch vineyard are hand-picked at night and taken directly to press. The juice was pale in color but ethereal in aroma. Aged in tank with no malolactic, and filtered for clarity during bottling. Aged for 5 months in 100% stainless steel tanks.
