The fanciful name "Young Vines" reflects that 80% of the blend comes from vines we planted in 1999 (the Merlot, Cab Franc, and Petit Verdot) rather than the Cabernet Sauvignon which comes from vines that were planted in 1986 (our "old vines," if you will). Aged 30 months in French Oak (80% new).
