This is the entry-level Pinot Noir from Knipser. This classic Pinot Noir originates from their premium site ”Burgweg" and is strongly influenced by the limestone terroir. They vinfiy this wine in new or second fill barriques for about 18 to 20 months. The end result is a red wine in the Burgundy style with raspberry and cherry aromas. In its youth the wine displays tight tannins that help the wine to age for about 10 years.
