Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Les Maréchaudes Rouge

    • Description :

      A famous Village of the Côte de Beaune, Aloxe-Corton is located at the foot of the Corton Hill. The village produces mainly Grand Crus and 1er Crus. Les Maréchaudes is an old parcel (60 years old) and is located near the Grand Cru Maréchaudes in the village of Ladoix-Serrigny.
      Vinification: Manual grape harvest. Fermentation in open vats for 18 days with punching of the cap (twice a day). Maturation in oak barrels for 17 months (including 20% new oak barrels).

      Tasting notes :

      Great character, with aromas of red and ripe fruits and spices. The tannins are well blended. Delicious with grilled meats and strong cheeses.
