Delinquent

The word DELINQUENT is used in the Piemontese dialect to describe young people who have a hard time respecting the rules. It was also the grandfather's way of addressing Giovanni, one of the winery's founders.

His grandfather was a strong man who managed to grow the vines by hand even when he was sick. This is what Giovanni and his partner wish to do today: continue cultivating by hand, honoring his grandfather's efforts in pursuing his passion.

The wines comes from a tiny plot of land that has been in the family for several generations and has exclusively been planted with Nebbiolo vines, going against the grain and preferring Nebbiolo over Barbera in the hills of Monferrato. The wines are organic, with only natural products used to maintain the health of the plants and the quality of the grapes.
