Flora Springs

Napa, California

Flora Springs

Founded in 1978 by the Komes and Garvey family, Flora Springs is an endeavor that spans four decades and three generations. The winery is named after beloved family matriarch, Flora Komes, and the natural springs that have flowed uninterrupted through the historic wine estate for over a century. It is the life's work of the family, a lasting testament to an unwavering dedication to crafting exceptional wines from their 300 acres of estate-farmed vineyards located throughout Napa Valley.

From the cool, rolling hills of Carneros through the famed sub-appellations of Oakville, Rutherford and St. Helena, the Komes family grows and produces noble varietal wines ranging from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and other red Bordeaux varietals. The vineyards are farmed using sustainable practices. Each year they select a small percentage of the yield for their own wines, and proudly sell the remaining fruit to neighboring Napa Valley wineries. This selection puts the focus on quality, not quantity, resulting in hand-crafted wines that meet the family's exacting standards.
Today the estate and vineyards are run by the third generation, Flora's grandsons, and the family legacy continues.
