Bogan Shiraz Barossa Valley

    • Description :

      The Bogan is a quintessential, full-bodied style of Shiraz produced from an assemblage of vines planted in Marananga and Nurioopta.
      The fruit for this wine was hand harvested, given some time with the skins and then pressed and put into barrel. Matured in 25% new French oak and the remainder in 2 and 3-year-old French oak for 15 months.

      Blend of Centenarian and Old Vine Shiraz (1899 & 1961)

      Loam over clay and red sandstone

      Alcohol :

      15%

      Tasting notes :

      Fruit driven with smooth, supple tannins. Elegant and velvety with good structure and length.
