Assoluto Passito Isola dei Nuraghi IGT

    • Description :

      Vineyard Site: Is Crabilis (Ussana)
Assoluto means "absolute" in Italian. Absolutely Sardinian, like the Nasco and Vermentino grapes with which it is produced.
Cellar Notes: The grapes are dried naturally at the vineyard on the vines for 15 days. Pressed by hand, fermentation takes place in small stainless-steel vats. Refinement follows for 6 months in stainless steel and is then placed in bottles for another 6 months to complete the process of refinement.

      Grape varieties :

      80% Nasco, 20% Vermentino

      Altitude :

      150-180 m ASL

      Vineyard age :

      30 years old

      Soil :

      Medium calcium clay hills

      Tasting notes :

Deep golden honey color, with intense aromas reminiscent of dried fruits, ripe apricots with a sweet, nutty finish. A complex but not dense or sticky dessert wine, with a pleasant salinity adding freshness making it the perfect match for aged cheeses and desserts that not excessively sweet.
