      Located just 3 kilometres from the border of Beaune, Savigny extends out from a large valley. Les Guettes is classified as a Premier Cru and is one of the most significant of the appellations because of its southern exposure. This Cru produces wines characterized by their long aging potential and their finesse.
      Vinification: Traditional. Manual harvest-picking. A punching down of the cap is done.
      Fermentation in open vats for 20 days before pressing. Maturation in
      oak barrels for 15 months.

      Mainly clay and limestone on old marls

      Tasting notes :

      Aromas of blackberry and cherry kirsch. Lively and vibrant on the palate with lots of fruit and a spicy finish.
