Description :
Les Echards: These terroirs are worthy of carrying the appellation Village from the southern village of the Côte de Nuits (Corgoloin) to the northern (Fixin). Both red (Pinot Noir) and white (Chardonnay) wines may claim the appellation. Wines that derive wholly from a single Climat may add that name on the label.
Vinification: Fermentation in temperature-controlled vats. Aged in 228-litre oak barrels. 100% malolactic fermentation. Unfined before bottling.
Grape varieties :
Pinot Noir
Exposure :
South-East
Soil :
Clay and limestone
Alcohol :
13.5%
Tasting notes :
Aromatic intensity with aromas of little red fruits (cherries, raspberries). An elegant and fruity wine. Supple and round on the palate with well-integrated tannins. Delicious with roasted or grilled meat and mature cheeses.
