The Mas des Restanques estate stretches over 12 hectares between the villages of Gigondas and Vacqueyras in the southern Rhône Valley of France. This land has been in the Faraud family since the beginning of the 20th century. Philippe Faraud is the second generation at Mas des Restanques, taking over now from his parents (Josiane and Jean-Luc) who first started making wine under their own label in 2007. Philippe joined the domaine full time in 2019 after being the vineyard manager at Le Sang des Cailloux for 10 years.
The domaine has been certified organic by Ecocert since 2012. The focus is on making cuvées with great character, strength and balance.
