Snowden Vineyards

Napa Valley, California

The Snowden ranch lies on the eastern slopes of the Napa Valley overlooking the towns of Rutherford and St. Helena.  Premium wine grapes have been farmed on the property since it was homesteaded in 1878. The Snowdens came to the ranch in 1955 and since then four generations of the family have walked its sunlit vineyards and shadowed woods. All of the wines are produced exclusively from fruit grown on the property. The vineyards are within a few hundred yards of the Rutherford and St. Helena appellations. The Howell Mountain appellation lies a few miles to the north. Our terroir-driven wines reflect the confluence of these appellations - the perfume of St. Helena, the leather of Rutherford, the structure and depth of mountain fruit.
